Good Monday morning gang (if you believe in such things) and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate the 67th Birthday of German guitarist Michael Schenker, best known for his work in UFO, the Scorpions, the Michael Schenker Group, and the McAuley Schenker Group. Happy Birthday Michael. With him in mind, we spotlight the 2nd record from the Michael Schenker Group, Assault Attack. The LP was released October 1982 on the Chrysalis label and produce by Martin Birch. It peaked at #151 in the US, #34 in Sweden, #19 in the UK, and #9 in Japan. "Dancer" was the album's sole single. This is the band's only album to feature former Rainbow vocalist, Graham Bonnet, who replaced Gary Barden, who then returned for MSG's final album, Built to Destroy.
