Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Latrobe, Pennsylvania born television host, author, producer, and Presbyterian minister, Fred Rogers, on what would have been his 94th Birthday. The popular host of the children's show, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, passed away on February 27, 2003, age 74, from stomach cancer. To honor his legacy, we spotlight his 7th studio album, Misterogers Knows That You Are Special. The LP was released in 1969 on Small World Records , was produced by George Hill and features Glen Campbell as engineer. We have about three or four Mr. Rogers records that were The Mrs.' when she was a child. The front of the album cover has a mirror on it , so when the kids looked at the album, they would see themselves in the reflection and know that they were special. In the photo you'll see here is my hands and phone, but they are nothing special.
