Great Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . we wanted to get a jump on things and wish New York City native, singer, and guitarist, Neil Diamond, an early Happy Birthday. Tomorrow (01/24/23) he will be celebrating his 82nd Birthday. He was born in 1941 to parents Rose and and Akeeba "Kieve" Diamond and on his 16th Birthday received his first guitar. Over the course of his 7 decade career has sold over 130 million records worldwide. With him in mind, we spotlight this compilation album from 1978 and Frog King Records. The LP peaked at #171 on the Billboard 200 and was produced by Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry. On it we find many Diamond classics such as "Cherry, Cherry", "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon", and "Red Red Wine".
