Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the Birthday of English American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer, Peter Frampton. The UK native, known for his solo work as well as playing guitar with Humble Pie, was born April 22, 1950 and is celebrating his 72nd Birthday today. Happy Birthday Peter ! To get his party started we shine a light on his fourth studio album, Frampton. The LP was released March 3, 1975 on the A&M label and was self produced. It peaked at #32 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified Gold. Unfortunately, it's three singles, "(I'll Give You) Money", "Show Me the Way", and "Baby, I Love Your Way" did not chart. However, the next year, with the release of his widely successful live album, Frampton Comes Alive, the live versions of the latter two would go on to find a bigger audience and eventually become classic rock standards.
