Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we are thrilled to celebrate the 78th Birthday of English bandleader and guitarist, Robin Trower, known for his work early work in the progressive rock band, Procol Harum and later for his solo work. Happy Birthday Robin ! With him in mind, we spotlight Procol Harum's sophomore release, Shine On Brightly. The LP was released September 1968 on the A&M label and produced by Denny Cordell. Cordell and the band had a falling out about half way through and in reality, famed Bowie producer, Tony Visconti, finished the rest of production. It reached #26 in Canada and faired slightly better in the US, coming in at #24 on the Billboard 200. It's sole single, "Quite Rightly So", peaked at #50 in the UK and #33 in Germany.
