Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today our record of choice is the sophomore release from Los Angeles based rock band, Redeye. One Man's Poison was released in 1972 on Pentagram Records and produced by Al Schmitt. Although I can find no evidence the LP charted, it's sole single, "Redeye Blues", a song about a guy who smokes some weed that's so good he forgets where he stashed it, peaked at #78 on the Hot 100. Because on the content, some radio stations refused to play it. The band, lead by Douglas "Red" Mark (formerly of The Sunshine Company) at times sounds like a cross between CCR and Three Dog Night.
