Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today is the 91st Birthday of Australian musician, singer-songwriter, composer, comedian, actor, painter , television personality and more recently a convicted sex offender. That's right, on this page even the criminals get a Birthday. So Happy Birthday Rolf. His third album, The Original Sun Arise, was released in 1963 on Epic Records. It features Harris accompanied by Johnnie Spence. The title track, "Sun Arise" opens the LP. It it seems familiar, it may be the Alice Cooper cover from his 1971 record, Love It To Death. The disc's closer, " Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" has been covered by Pat Boone, and that version has been featured before on this very page.
