Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember, The First Lady of Country Music, Tammy Wynette, on this, the 23rd anniversary of her death. She passed away in 1998, age 55, following a blood clot in her lung. Her first greatest hits package, Tammy's Greatest Hits was released in 1969 on Epic Records and produced by Billy Sherrill. The record reached #37 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Country Albums chart. It has been certified Platinum.
