Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . We'll call it Random Record on a Throwback Thursday, because the other day I was looking for a Tavares album to feature, but we only have one of their records, and I have already featured it. The album before it in the bins was this one, that wew've had for years, but never listened to it. It's the self titled debut of Tapaztry. Tapaztry were a jazz/rock/funk fusion band who released one album in 1982 on Mrald Records out of Tampa. They were a Tampa/Orlando band and for years in the 80s were the house band at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor . The music is great ! It's full of wind instruments and Moog. They are a really tight outfit. I can find some of the individual members on Facebook and the like but sadly none of their tunes on YouTube, so I will be posting a video this afternoon. I'll include some info links down around the pictures as well. If any of our readers know anything about these guys, please share.
