Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 71st Birthday of vocalist/guitarist, radio personality and novelist, Greg Kihn. Happy Birthday Greg ! With him in mind, we spotlight the 8th studio album by The Greg Kihn Band. Kihnspiracy was released in 1983 on the interestingly named label Beserkley, and produced by Matthew King Kaufman, who was also owner of the aforementioned label. It is the band's most successful record, peaking at #15 on the Billboard 200. Three singles were released ; "Tear That City Down", "Love Never Fails" (#59 Hot 100) and one of their most popular hits, "Jeopardy" (#62 UK, #5 Mainstream Rock, #2 Hot 100, #1 Dance). "Jeopardy" would be parodied a year later by "Weird Al" Yankovic as "I Lost On Jeopardy" (#81 Hot 100).
