Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Chicago born vocalist and cellist, Orville "Hoppy" Jones, best known as a part of the American vocal jazz group, The Ink Spots, on what would have been his 118th Birthday. He died in 1944 from cerebral hemorrhages, after collapsing on stage at the Cafe Zanzibar in New York City. He was 39 years old. We honor his legacy by spinning this 1965 Vocalion Records release, Lost In A Dream.
