SATURDAY'S SINGLES : COBBLE MOUNTAIN BAND and VERN GOSDIN

Good morning, morning people and welcome to the post Christmas and last Saturday's Singles of the year. With it being the last week of the year we chose two tracks that signify goodbyes or an end of things. Our first selection comes to us via Massachusetts country rock jazz fusion outfit, the Cobble Mountain Band. Their one and only self titled debut was released in 1979 with the single from it, "Everybody's Got To Leave Sometime" released in 1981 on Singlebrook Records. Information on this group isn't easy to find but what I can find indicates the band is from Tyringham, MA, and found it's origins in a barn that was shadowed by the great Cobble Mountain. The B-side is "Old Time Rhythm Of Love". I found the album credits and will post them below. By the way this 45 was purchased last year at Treasure House Antiques and Collectibles in Winter Haven, FL. I bought it mainly because I'd never heard of them and the label has green lizards on it and I thought it wood look cool spinning on the turntable. It does.
