Today joyfully celebrate the 75 Birthday of British musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, Mick Jones of Foreigner, not to be confused with Mick Jones of The Clash. Happy Birthday Mick ! With him in mind, we spotlight the band's first compilation album, Records was released November 29, 1982 on the Atlantic label and produced by Roy Thomas Baker, Mick Jones, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Gary Lyons, Ian McDonald, Keith Olsen, and John Sinclair. It peaked at #58 in the UK, #26 in Australia, #22 in Germany, and #10 in the US, where it has also been certified 7X Platinum. The front cover is made to look like one of those table jukeboxes with only Foreigner songs as selections.
