Good morning gang and welcome back to the return of Saturday's Singles. On this day 1952,  in 1952, actress, model, producer, and author, Susan Dey, best known for playing the role of Laurie Partridge on the sitcom The Partridge Family, is born Pekin, Illinois. Happy 70th Birthday Susan! With her in mind, we spotlight the Family's debut single, "I Think I Love You". The song ws written by Tony Romeo, produced by Wes Farrell, and released on August 22, 1970 via Bell Records. It reached #18 in the UK, #10 on Canada's Adult Contemporary charts, #8 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary charts, #5 in New Zealand, #4 in South Africa, and #1 in Australia, Canada, the Hot 100, and the Cash Box charts. It is b/w "Somebody Wants To Love You" and both songs hail from their debut album, The Partridge Family Album.

Also on this day in 1995,  Darren "Buff Love" Robinson, of the Brooklyn based hip hop trio, The Fat Boys, passed away at age 28 from a heart attack. He was born June 10, 1967 and was one of the pioneers of beatboxing. Along with members "Prince Markie Dee" (Mark Morales) and "Kool Rock-Ski" ( Damon Wimbley),  Robinson released 7 studio albums, the also starred in three films :  Krush Groove, Knights of the City, and Disorderlies. Last year "Prince Markie Dee" passed away one day before his 53rd birthday of congestive heart failure, leaving  "Kool Rock-Ski" as the only remaining Fat Boy. We honor their legacy by spinning their single "Falling In Love". The tune was written by The Fat Boys along with Eddison Electrik and Van Gibbs and then produced by produced by that same crew. It was released in 1987 on the Tin Pan Apple and peaked at #16 on Billboard's Hot R&B/ Hip Hop charts. We have the 12" single versio with the following track list :
