Good morning, Sunday people and welcome back to the Father's Day 2020 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. I find myself thinking about my Dad today. At times we were estranged but our relationship wasn't terrible. There were things we could never see eye to eye on and there were other things that we really enjoyed doing together, like watching and attending wrestling events.  Ken Wahl on Wiseguy, his favorite movie Roadhouse and although at the time I probably wouldn't have admitted it to my heavy metal friends, truck driving music. Now if you are going down the truck driving music lane, you cannot fail to mention the best at it, and that's Red Sovine. If you can make it through one of his albums, without shedding tears, then you my friend are tougher stuff than I. For today's purposes we bring you this 2 disc compilation album, The Best Of Red Sovine. It was released on Gusto Records in 1980. So if you are lucky enough to have your Father in your life still, do something nice for him and it that is not the case, then maybe tell your kids a story about him, and help keep his memory alive.
