SITVA - THE JACKSON 5 - LOOKIN' THROUGH THE WINDOWS

Good morning record  enthusiasts and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, on this, the 11th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 2009, age 50, from  cardiac arrest. He is severely missed. With him in mind, we spotlight the sixth studio album by the Jackson 5, Lookin' Through the Windows. The LP was released  May 23, 1972 on the Motown label and produced by The Corporation and Hal Davis. It reached #7 on the Billboard 200, while resting at #16 in both the UK and Canada. The title track (#16 Hot 100, #5  Best Selling Soul Singles),  the Bobby Darrin cover, "Little Bitty Pretty One" (#13 Hot 100) and a cover of  Jackson Browne's  "Doctor My Eyes" (#9 UK) were released as singles. Our copy still has the Jackson 5 Fan Club order form in the form of a sleeve. Sometimes I get almost as much of a kick out of those, as I do the record itself.
