It addition to Friday, it is also the 73rd Birthday of New York born singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and former television personality, Steven Tyler. Happy Birthday Steven ! Aerosmith's first greatest hits compilation album, conveniently called Greatest Hits, was released November 11, 1980, on the Columbia label, and produced by  Adrian Barber, Jack Douglas, Ray Colcord, Aerosmith, George Martin, and Gary Lyons. The LP peaked at #43 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified Diamond.
