Great Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate  British musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, Mick Jones, (Michael Geoffrey Jones)  (not to be confused with Mick Jones of Foreigner) best known as co lead vocalist and guitarist for the punk band The Clash, as he celebrates his 68th Birthday. Happy Birthday Mick ! He was born June 26, 1955 in Wandsworth, London to parents Tommy Jones  Renee Zegansky and over the course of his 6 decade career he has been in the bands The Clash,  General Public, Big Audio Dynamite, and it's successor, Big Audio Dynamite II. Today we have him on the debut album by Big Audio Dynamite. This Is Big Audio Dynamite was released November 1, 1985 on Columbia and produced by Jones. It peaked at #103 on the Billboard 200, #87 in Australia, #27 in the UK, and #8 in New Zealand. It has been certified Gold in the US. Three singles were released from the 8 track disc ; "The Bottom Line" (#97 UK, #38 New Zealand, #34 Australia, #33 Hot Dance Club Play) , "E=MC2 (#47 Australia, #41 Hot Dance Singles Sales, #37 Hot Dance Club Play, #18 New Zealand, #11Ireland, UK)  and "Medicine Show" (#42 Hot Dance Club Play, #29 UK). In the video to "Medicine Show" his former bandmates, Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon appear from The Clash as well as John Lydon of the Sex Pistols.
