Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today our Sunday Soundtrack is the third studio album by Atlanta based R&B and electro-funk group, The S.O.S. Band. III was released October 29, 1982 on the Tabu label and was produced by Ricky Sylvers (of the famous family R&B group The Slyvers) and Gene Dozier. It peaked at #172 on the Billboard 200 and #27 on Billboard's Top R&B/ Hip Hop Albums chart. Three singles were  released from III ; "Groovin' (That's What We're Doin')" (#72 UK, #47 Dance Club Songs), "Have It Your Way" (#57 R&B), and "High Hopes" (#49 Dance Club Songs, #25 R&B). The latter was written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the songwriting and record production team, known for their work with Michael Jackson, Boy II Men, and Mariah Carey.
