STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - BOBBY DARIN - THAT'S ALL

Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Walden Robert Cassotto, East Harlem born singer, musician, and actor, known the world over as Bobby Darin.  He died 48 years ago on December 20,1973, age 37, after multiple heart surgeries. What a shame. We honor his legacy by spinning his sophomore record, That's All. That's All was released March 1959 on the Atco label and was produced by brothers Ahmet and Nesuhi Ertegun,  along with Jerry Wexler. The album stayed on the charts 52 weeks and peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200. Fans of the ABC television show LOST, might remember the song "Beyond The Sea" from when the character Shannon Rutherford sung the French version of the song,  "La Mer" while trying to decipher the French woman, Danielle Rousseau's writings.
