Good Monday morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles. Today we gleefully celebrate the 75th Birthday of Los Angeles born singer songwriter Kim Carnes. Happy Birthday Kim! Weith her in mind, we spotlight her eighth studio album, Café Racers. Café Racers was released in October 1983 on the EMI label and produced by Keith Olsen, who passed away earlier in March of this year, at age 74, from cardiac arrest. It peaked at #97 on the Billboard 200 and spawned four singles ; "Invisible Hands" (#40 Hot 100) , "The Universal Song" (#40 Netherlands) , 

"You Make My Heart Beat Faster (And That's All That Matters)" (#54 Hot 100) , and "I Pretend" (#74 Hot 100, #9 Adult Contemporary). Our copy is a Promotional Copy that was unopened before today. The left top cover has the promotional stamp that reads :
