STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - LOUSIANA'S LE ROUX - KEEP THE FIRE BURNIN'

Goods Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today our dedicated disc is the second record from Louisiana's LeRoux (later shortened to just LeRoux), Keep The Fire Burnin'. The LP was released on Capitol Records in 1979 and features the six piece band churning out their distinctive brand of Middle Of The Road Rock (MOR) mixed with  jazz, funk, and Creole R&B. The album reached #162 on the Billboard 200 and was produced by the group's bassist,  Leon Medica. The album's sole single, "Feel It" did not chart. I guess audiences weren't feeling it. (Joking). It's a great album and should have been more successful. I bought the album for it's cover which shows a man sitting at a table, wearing his spaghetti dinner on his head, courtesy of the two scorned women standing over him.
