Good morning goblins and trolls and welcome back to our All Halloweekend Countdown of Spooktacular And Sinister Sounds. With one more day to go, we bring you the pioneers of horror punk, the Misfits, with self titled second compilation album, Misfits (although sometimes referred to as Collection 1) . The LP was released July 1, 1986 on Caroline Records and was produced by the band and Glen Lockett, best known as producer, Spot. The track list, curated by bandleader Glenn Danzig collects early singles as well as songs from the albums Walk Among Us, Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood, and their first compilation , Legacy of Brutality. Our copy was purchased within the last few years at Lakeland's very own The Wax & the Needle.
