STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - MOTT THE HOOPLE - LIVE

Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today would have been the 73rd Birthday of  English drummer and a founding member of Mott The Hoople, Dale "Buffin" Griffin. He passed away in 2016 in his sleep after battling  Alzheimer's disease. He was 67. We honor his legacy with Mott The Hoople's first live album, appropriately called Live. Live was recorded at the  Hammersmith Odeon, on December 14, 1973 and Uris Theatre, Broadway, May 8 and 9, 1974 and the released in November of 1974 on the Columbia label. The disc was produced by Griffin and peaked at #51 in Canada and #32 in the UK. It was their last release before announcing breakup.
