Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 75th Birthday of Led Zeppelin bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones . Happy Birthday John ! Led Zeppelin's sixth studio album, Physical Graffiti, was released February 24, 1975, on the band's label Swan Song and produced by guitarist Jimmy Page. The double album reached #3 in New Zealand, #2 in Austria and Spain, and #1 Canada, the UK, and America, where it has been certified 16X Platinum. "Trampled Under Foot", the LP's lone single, peaked at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100. The record's cover boasts the iconic die cut sleeve design with the windows of a New York City tenement block. The location is 96 and 98 East 8th Street / St. Mark's Place in Manhattan. Our copy was another addition from cousin Becky. Thanks Becky !
