Good morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles, A Number Ones edition. Our first selection comes to us via New York native, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist , Brian Hyland. "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" was released in June 1960 on the Leader label and was written by Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss. It was performed by Hyland with an orchestra conducted by John Dixon. It peaked at #1in Belgium, Canada, West Germany, New Zealand, South Africa, the Cash Box, and the Hot 100. It sold over a million copies in the US alone and it's B-side is "Don't Dilly Dally, Sally". Both songs are from Brian's debut album, A Bashful Blond.

Our second Saturday's Singles selection is "Three Times A Lady" by the Commodores. The tune, from their 6th studio album, Natural High, was released June 1978 on Motown Records, written by Lionel Ritchie, and produced by James Anthony Carmichael & the Commodores. It reached #10 in Canada, #8 in Australia, and #1 on the Soul chart, the Adult Contemporary chart, and the Hot 100. It's flipside is "Look What You've Done to Me", from their sophomore release, Caught In The Act.
