SATURDAY'S SINGLES : EAGLES and RICK SPRINGFIELD

Good morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles, a Number Ones Edition. Our first number one comes to us via California rock band (the) Eagles. "One of These Nights", the title track to their 4th studio album was released  May 19, 1975 on the Asylum label. The song, written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey, and produced by Bill Szymczyk, peaked at #1 (Hot 100) on this day in 1975. It's B-side, "Visions" is unique, as it is the only song in their catalogue that guitarist Don Felder sings lead vocal.

Don Henley – lead vocals, drums
