Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good morning gang and welcome back to Saturday's Singles. Our first single is "Let's Get It On" by "Prince of Motown", Marvin Gaye, who would have celebrated his 83rd Birthday today. He died April 1, 1984 after an altercation with his father, Marvin Gaye Sr., who fatally shot his son. "Let's Get It On", the title track to Gaye's thirteenth studio album, was released June 15, 1973 on the Tamla label and produced by Marvin Gaye. It peaked at #31 in the UK, #11 in Canada, and #1 on the Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles charts, and has been certified Platinum in the US. It's flip side is "I Wish It Would Rain", a cover of The Temptations' 1967 song.

The duo (Pilatus and Fab Morvan) released "Girl You Know It's True", the title track to their North American debut record, in December 1988 on Arista Records.
