Good morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles, a Number Ones Edition. First up, under our needle is the 1988 Epic Records release, "Man In The Mirror" by The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson. The song, his 4th #1 single from his 7th solo album BAD, was #1 on the Hot 100 charts this day in '88, where it stayed for two weeks. It also peaked at #1 in Canada, Italy, the Hot Dance charts, and the R&B charts. Normally it's It's flip side is the instrumental version of "Man In The Mirror", however ours is a promo copy, with the while label, and has the same version on both sides. We do have the 45 in a regular picture sleeve with the lyrics printed on the back. I don't remember if we bought it this way or if we found a empty sleeve and married the record to it.

Their song, from their debut full length studio album, Middle of Nowhere, sat upon the Hot 100 throne this day in '97 and topped the charts as well in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Europe, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, New Zealand, Scottland, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 charts.
