Today we celebrate Seattle born saxophonist, Kenneth Bruce Gorelick , known the world over as simply Kenny G, as he celebrates his 64th Birthday. Happy Birthday Kenny ! With him in mind, we spotlight his sophomore record, G Force. G Force was released January 16, 1983 on the Arista label and was produced by Kenny G, Wayne Brathwaite, and Kashif. It reached #6 on Billboard's Jazz Albums chart, #17 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart , and #62 on the Billboard 200. It's sole single, "Hi, How Ya Doin'?" peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.
