Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Mexican/American actor, painter, writer, and film director, Anthony Quinn, on what would have been his 106th Birthday. He passed away in 2001, age 86, from respiratory failure. We honor his legacy by spotlighting the Soundtrack Recording to the 1962 film Lawrence Of Arabia, in which Quinn played Auda Abu Tayi, the leader of of a section of the Howeitat, during WWI. The soundtrack was released in 1962, on the Colpix label and features conductor Maurice Jarre with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. It peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200.
