Good morning party people and welcome to the 420 2021 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. That's right folks, today is the official unofficial day for all things centered in the world of wacky weed. What's the best way to start the day? With these 12 Smokin' Joints ... Disco Freak Party -12 Smokin' Joints that is. This 1980 compilation from renowned bootlegger Paul Winley, features 12 tracks from the likes of Barry White, B.T. Express, Carl Douglas, B.B. King and others. What it all has to do with disco and doobies, I'm not sure, but it was a very enjoyable listen. From what I gather Winley started out in doo-wop and transitioned over into hip hop after his daughter's introduced him to it. I'll include a couple of links about him down around the pictures.
A1 George McCrae– Rock Your Baby
A2 Ben E. King– Supernatural Thing
A3 B.T. Express– Express
A4 Mighty Tom Cats– Soul Makossa
A5 Carl Douglas– Kung Fu Fighting
A6 Rufus Thomas– Breakdown (Part 1)
B1 Barry White– Can't Get Enough
B2 Ohio Players– Skin Tight
B3 The Isley Brothers– It's Your Thing
B4 Bill Withers– Harlem
B5 The Staple Singers– Respect Yourself
B6 B.B. King– Philadelphia
