Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. On this day in 1977 the tenth James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me, was released . The Lewis Gilbert directed movie starred Roger Moore in his third outing as 007, with co-stars Barbara Bach and Curt Jürgens . The score was composed by Marvin Hamlisch instead of John Barry, whose tax problems prohibited him working in London. Carly Simon is featured on the main theme, "Nobody Does It Better", marking the first time the theme had a different title than the film. The LP, on the United Artist label, reached #56 in Australia.
