Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Well according to the National Event Calendar, today is National Movie Theater Day, and that's good enough for us to break out this 3 record box set called, 50 Years Of American Movies. The LPs were released in 1977 on Musicor Records as part of the Musical Heritage Series and sees 50 years worth of academy award winning songs performed by the world's greatest orchestras and vocalists. It stretches back to 1927 with Mammy and runs to 1977 with the Star Wars (Main Title) theme. Most of the vocalists on the set are sound a likes but that didn't make the evening of musical memories any less enjoyable.
