Good Monday morning gang (if you believe in such things) and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . We take this moment to wish California born bass baritone singer and songwriter, Bill Medley, known for his work in The Righteous Brothers, a very Happy belated 81st Birthday. Yesterday was the BIG day, so Happy Birthday Bill ! With him in mind, we spotlight this 1969 album, Someone Is Standing Outside. The LP was released on the MGM label and self produced. On it Bill treats us to amazing soulful covers of The Beatles, O.C. Smith, Dylan, Elvis, and Sinatra. If it charted or a single was released, I can find no evidence, which is surprising, because it's really a great listen.
