Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Houston born vocalist, pianist, and producer, Billy Preston, on what would have been his 75th Birthday. He passed away in 2006, age 59, from respiratory failure. With him in mind, we spotlight his seventh studio album, Music Is My Life. The LP was released October 8, 1972 on the A&M label and was self produced. It peaked at #32 on the Billboard 200, #31 in Canada, and #7 on the R&B charts. "Will It Go Round in Circles", a Gold certified single (#99 Australia, #10 R&B, #1 Canada and the Hot 100) was released as the record's sole single.
