We didn't want the week to get away without mentioning that Tuesday (May 3rd) was what would have been the 119th Birthday of Bing Crosby (real name : Harry Lillis Crosby Jr.) . The Tacoma born actor and singer was born in 1903 and passed away October 14, 1977, age 74, from a massive heart attack. With him in mind, we spotlight this 1961 RCA Victor release, Sing Along! With Bing Crosby And His Friends by Bing Crosby And His Friends. The LP collects some of the most delightful medleys ever committed to wax. From wartime to drinking songs to children's rhymes, I guarantee you'll be singing along as well.
