Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we wish West Palm Beach native, guitarist vocalist, and bandleader, Dickey Betts, a very Happy belated 79th Birthday. He was born December 12, 1943 and is best known as a composer and founding member for the Allman Brothers Band as well as his own solo material with the Dickey Betts Band. Today we have him on his fourth studio album, Pattern Disruptive. The LP was released October 18, 1988 on the Epic label and produced by Jon Mathias and the Dickey Betts Band. At the time, it was his first release in 7 years and he is joined by Allman bandmates Warren Haynes and Johnny Neel in order to create an album reminiscent of the signature Allman Brothers twin guitar sound. The side 2 opener is a tribute to Duane Allman called "Duane's Tune".
