"Mickey" by Philadelphia born singer, choreographer, dancer, actress, and director, Tony Basil was released in 1982 on the Chrysalis label, written by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn and then produced by Greg Mathieson and Trevor Veitch. Hailing from her debut album, Word of Mouth, the tune topped the Australian, Canadian and the Hot 100 charts as well as reaching #69 in West Germany, #39 in Belgium and the Netherlands, #3 in Ireland, South Africa, and on the Dance Club Songs chart, and #2 in New Zealand, the UK, and on the Cash Box. It is b/w the song, "Thief On The Loose", also from the Word Of Mouth album.

"The Way It Is" was released September 1986 on the RCA label and was written by Hornsby and then he produced it along with Elliot Scheiner. It is the title track to Bruce Hornsby And The Range's debut album and peaked at #23 in New Zealand, #16 in West Germany, #15 in Switzerland and the UK, #13 in Europe and South Africa, #12 in Australia, #8 in Ireland, #6 in Spain, #3 in Belgium, and #1 in Canada, the Netherlands, the Adult Contemporary charts and Billboard's Hot 100. It's B-side is "The Wild Frontier", from the same LP.
