STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - DISCO NIGHTS - VARIOUS ARTISTS

Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. According to the National Event Calendar, today, July 2, is National Disco Day, and that's good enough for us. To get this disco party started we find ourselves spinning this 1978 K-Tel compilation, Disco Nights by various artists. The LP sees the acts of the day like A Taste Of Honey, the Village People, Andy Gibb, and others churning out the dance beats to turn your night a disco night. It's an interesting album, in that the songs are sequenced without any dead space between them so the sides play like one long song. Although we do not listen to disco everyday, we do have a disco ball that hangs in our living room year round. It used to hang in the now Legendary J.R.'s Junk Trunk.
