Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Indiana native, author, minister and Southern gospel musician, Doug Oldham, on what would have been his 92nd Birthday. He was born in 1930 and passed away July 21, 2010, age 79, after a fall that resulted in a broken back. During his six decade career he released 64 albums (some sources say 66), performed for Presidents (Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Sr.), as well as Prince Phillip and the Queen of England. Our record selection today is his 1980 Impact Records release, What's It Gonna Take.
