Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Illinois native, stand-up comedian, and actor Richard Pryor, on what would have been his 82nd Birthday. He was born in 1940 and passed away December 10, 2005, age 65, from a heart attack. With him in mind, we spotlight his 4th comedy album ,...Is It Something I Said? . The LP was recorded at the Latin Casino in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and then released on the Warner Brothers' Reprise label on July 25, 1975. It was produced by David Banks and won a Grammy for the Best Comedy Recording of 1976. On it Pryor tackles everything from funerals, the justice system, race, sex, and religion in only the ways only he could.
