Good Tuesday morning, morning people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember bassist and occasional vocalist for Electric Light Orchestra, Kelly Groucutt, on what would have been his 75th Birthday. He passed away in 2009, age 63, from a heart attack. With him in mind, we spotlight this 4 record box set, The Best Of Their Box. The Best Of Their Box was released August 7, 1980 on the Epic label and produced by Jeff Lynne. The Box collects three albums, the single albums, A New World Record and Discovery, as well as the double album, Out Of The Blue. Ours is a promotional item that also came with a bonus single sided single of Jeff Lynne's first ever solo single, "Doin' That Crazy Thing", but the 45 is sadly missing.
