Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember The King Of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley, on this the 45th anniversary of his passing. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8th, 1935 and passed away in 1977, age 42 from cardiac arrest. We honor his legacy by spinning this RCA compilation album, Elvis: A Legendary Performer Volume 2. The LP was released on January 8, 1976 and features live versions, previously unreleased outtakes, interview excerpts and a 12 page booklet with pictures and newspaper reproductions, etc. . The album has been certified 2X Platinum in the US. We have Volumes 1 and 3, as well, and have featured them both on this page.
