Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . It was this month 54 years ago that Boston based psychedelic rock band, Ultimate Spinach released their second record, Behold & See. The LP was released on the MGM label and produced by Alan Lorber who produced all three of the band's albums. It peaked at #198 on the Billboard 200 and features multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Ian Bruce-Douglas, and female vocalist Barbara Hudson, who help create a sound comparable to other psychedelic or progressive acts of the time, while not really sounding like them at all, like the Doors, Airplane, Tull or Iron Butterfly, but the writing is more mellow and subdued.
