Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. On this day in 1967 Elvis Presley, the King Of Rock, married American actress and business magnate, Priscilla Beaulieu. The marriage lasted 6 years and produced one daughter, Lisa Marie (who years later would marry the King Of Pop, Michael Jackson) . With tales of wedded bliss dancing around in our mind, we hearken backed to Elvis' second studio album, appropriately called Elvis. Elvis was released October 19, 1956, on the RCA Victor label and produced by Steve Sholes. The Platinum certified disc peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned 4 singles ; "Love Me" (Black Singles #7, Country Singles #10, Pop Singles #2) , "Old Shep" (#47 Pop Singles), "Paralyzed" (#56 Pop Singles) and "When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again" (#47 Pop Singles).
