Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember English keyboardist, Ian McLagan, best known for his work with Small Faces and Faces, on this, the 7th anniversary of his passing. He died in 2014, age 69 from a stroke. We honor his legacy with Faces' third studio album, A Nod Is As Good As A Wink... To A Blind Horse. The LP was released November 17, 1971 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by the band with Glyn Johns (who also produced yesterday's Humble Pie selection). It peaked at #34 in Germany, #6 on the Billboard 200, #5 in Canada, #4 in Australia, #3 in the Netherlands and #2 in the UK . The album's single single reached #41 in Australia, #28 in Germany, #17 on the Hot 100, #10 on the Cash Box, #6 in the UK, and #4 in the Netherlands and Canada.
