STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - FOGHAT - STONE BLUE

Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember English vocalist/ guitarist "Lonesome Dave" Peverett, best known for his work with Savoy Brown and later with Foghat, on this, the 20th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 2000, age 56, from complications with cancer. With him in mind, we find ourselves listening to Foghat's seventh studio album, Stone Blue. Stone Blue was released May of 1978 on the  Bearsville label and produced by famed Zeppelin / Hendrix  producer, Eddie Kramer. The LP peaked at #25 on the Billboard 200 and I've read the title track was released as a single, but if it charted I cannot find it's position. The album features a great cover of  Robert Johnson's "Sweet Home Chicago".
