Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again's Week Of Wonderland Christmas Music Countdown . It's two more days until Christmas, and turning on our table today is this 1967 RCA Victor release, For A Musical Merry Christmas, Volume 4 by various artists. This LP was manufactured by RCA exclusively for the BF Goodrich tire company, similar to others issued by Firestone and Goodyear to boost sales of their products. Pretty good idea in a time when music was limited to radio stations and so forth. You come in the store, buy some tires and a album and soon you're old sleigh ridin' and jingle bell rockin' down the road. This compilations features festive selections from acts like Vic Damone, The Anita Kerr Singers, Floyd Cramer, Jim Reeves, and many more.
A1 Vic Damone– Deck The Halls
A2 Melachrino Strings And Orchestra– The First Noël
A3 The Anita Kerr Singers– God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
