Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Australian stage, screen and television actor, and director, Cyril Ritchard (Cyril Joseph Trimnell-Ritchard) , who is best known for playing Captain Hook in the Mary Martin version of Peter Pan, on this, the 45th anniversary of his passing. He was born December 1, 1898 and died in 1977, age 79, after suffering a heart attack. Today we have him on this Riverside Records release of Cyril Ritchard  Reads Selections from Alice in Wonderland. I'm not sure about the release date of this LP. I can find it on Discogs along with a four LP and six LP box set of Alice In Wonderland, although all of the finds say year unknown.
